- home sample collection;
- coordination with authorised processing laboratories;

These are healthcare and diagnostic services. They do not ordinarily involve the shipment or sale of physical goods that can be returned by a customer.
Collection tubes, needles, swabs, containers, reagents and other consumables used during sample collection or testing form part of the diagnostic service. They are not returnable products supplied to the customer.
3. Role of healthcare nt sickcare
Depending on the test, package, location and technical requirements, healthcare nt sickcare may act as:
- the diagnostic service provider;
- the sample-collection provider;
- the booking and payment facilitator;
- the coordinator between the customer and a processing laboratory; or
- the digital report-delivery facilitator.
Certain routine or specialised tests may be processed by appropriately equipped partner or referral laboratories.
Where another laboratory performs a test:

- healthcare nt sickcare remains responsible for obligations directly imposed upon it by applicable law; and
- customers may request available information about the processing laboratory through our customer support and grievance contact page.
4. Accreditation and Certification Disclosures
Any accreditation or certification claim published by healthcare nt sickcare must be interpreted according to its stated scope.
An accreditation or certification may apply only to:
- a particular legal entity;
- a specific laboratory location;
- defined tests or laboratory disciplines;
- a specified quality-management system; or
- the partner laboratory named on a report.
An accreditation belonging to a partner or referral laboratory does not automatically constitute accreditation of healthcare nt sickcare.
Any reference to ISO certification, NABL accreditation or another quality credential must accurately disclose, where applicable:
- the certified or accredited entity;
- the certificate or accreditation number;
- the issuing or accreditation body;
- the covered location;
- the approved scope; and
- the certificate’s validity period.
Customers may contact us to request available verification information concerning a published accreditation or certification claim.
5. No Medical Consultation or Emergency Service
Laboratory reports and website information provide diagnostic information. They do not constitute:
- a medical consultation;
- a final clinical diagnosis;
- treatment advice;
- a medical prescription;
- continuous patient monitoring; or
- emergency medical care.
A laboratory result must be interpreted by a qualified medical practitioner in the context of the patient’s symptoms, medical history, medications, examination findings and other investigations.
Reference ranges may differ according to:
- the patient’s age or sex;
- pregnancy status;
- the testing method;
- the analysing instrument;
- biological variation;
- the processing laboratory; and
- relevant clinical circumstances.
A result outside a reference range does not independently confirm a disease. Similarly, a result within a reference range does not necessarily exclude a medical condition.
In a medical emergency, customers must contact the appropriate emergency service or proceed to the nearest suitable hospital. This website must not be used to request emergency diagnosis or treatment.
6. Customer Eligibility and Consent
A customer making a booking must:
- be at least 18 years old;
- be legally capable of entering into a contract;
- provide accurate patient and contact information;
- have authority to make the booking; and
- provide or obtain the required consent for sample collection and testing.
Bookings for minors
A parent or lawful guardian must make or authorise a booking for a minor.
Additional documentation or consent may be required for:
- age-restricted tests;
- genetic or specialised investigations;
- sensitive health conditions;
- legally regulated tests; or
- tests requiring a physician’s prescription.
Bookings for another person
A customer booking for another individual confirms that the customer:
- has the individual’s permission or another lawful authority;
- is authorised to provide the individual’s personal information;
- is authorised to receive booking communications; and
- understands that laboratory reports contain sensitive personal information.
7. Test Selection and Medical Prescriptions
Certain laboratory tests may require:
- a valid prescription;
- clinical information;
- informed consent;
- proof of identity;
- proof of age;
- a treating physician’s details; or
- another document required by law or laboratory protocol.
healthcare nt sickcare may refuse or postpone a test where the necessary prescription, consent, documentation or clinical information has not been supplied.
Customers should obtain medical advice when uncertain about which investigation is appropriate. Website descriptions and health packages are not personalised medical recommendations.
8. Test Preparation and Customer Responsibilities
Customers must review and follow all preparation instructions supplied for a test.
These instructions may include requirements concerning:
- fasting;
- water intake;
- medication;
- specimen timing;
- physical activity;
- alcohol consumption;
- dietary restrictions;
- collection containers; and
- physician-directed preparation.
Customers should disclose information relevant to safe collection and reliable testing, including:
- patient age and identity;
- pregnancy, where relevant;
- current medicines and supplements;
- allergies;
- bleeding disorders;
- fainting history;
- recent illness or medical procedures;
- relevant meals, exercise or alcohol consumption; and
- instructions received from a treating practitioner.
Failure to provide accurate information or follow preparation instructions may affect sample collection, analytical validity or clinical interpretation.
9. Sample Collection Risks
Blood collection and other specimen-collection procedures may involve temporary or uncommon risks, including:
- pain or discomfort;
- bruising;
- bleeding;
- swelling;
- dizziness;
- fainting;
- difficulty obtaining a sample; or
- infection at the collection site.
Customers must inform the collection professional about any condition that could increase these risks.
Appropriate consent may be obtained before sample collection. A customer may decline a procedure before collection begins, subject to the applicable cancellation and refund conditions.
10. Sample Acceptance, Rejection and Recollection
A sample may be rejected or require recollection if it is:
- insufficient in quantity;
- collected in an incorrect container;
- improperly labelled;
- haemolysed;
- clotted where clotting is unsuitable;
- contaminated;
- leaking or damaged;
- delayed during transport;
- stored outside required conditions; or
- otherwise unsuitable for reliable analysis.
Where reasonably practicable, healthcare nt sickcare will inform the customer if recollection is required.
Recollection charges, if any, will depend on:
- the reason for rejection;
- whether the customer followed the instructions;
- whether the collection was performed by healthcare nt sickcare;
- whether consumables or laboratory processing were already used; and
- the customer’s rights under applicable law.
Relevant refund and recollection conditions are explained in our Return and Refund Policy.
11. Biological and Analytical Limitations
Laboratory testing is subject to inherent biological and analytical limitations.
A result may be influenced by:
- specimen quality;
- collection technique;
- transport conditions;
- collection timing;
- food or fasting status;
- medicines and supplements;
- recent exercise;
- acute illness;
- biological variation;
- interfering substances;
- instrument performance; and
- limitations of the testing method.
Where clinically or analytically appropriate, a test may require:
- repeat analysis;
- recollection;
- dilution;
- confirmation by another method;
- reflex testing; or
- referral to a specialised laboratory.
Such procedures may affect the estimated report-delivery time.
12. Test Availability and Substitution
Tests, health packages and services are subject to operational and technical availability.
Availability may be affected by:
- the customer’s location;
- collection capacity;
- reagent availability;
- instrument availability;
- referral laboratory schedules;
- test-specific stability requirements;
- public holidays; or
- regulatory restrictions.
If a booked service becomes unavailable, healthcare nt sickcare may offer to:
- reschedule the collection;
- provide an equivalent test;
- refer the test to a suitable laboratory;
- modify the package with the customer’s agreement; or
- cancel and refund the affected service.
No material substitution should be made without informing the customer.
13. Prices, Discounts, Taxes and Payments
The applicable price will ordinarily be displayed before the customer completes payment.
Customers should review:
- the selected tests;
- package inclusions;
- collection charges;
- available discounts;
- coupon conditions;
- the final payable amount; and
- any applicable statutory levy.
Promotional prices and discounts may be subject to:
- eligibility requirements;
- geographic restrictions;
- minimum booking values;
- validity periods;
- limited availability; and
- exclusions disclosed with the offer.
A booking is confirmed only after successful payment or acceptance of another authorised payment arrangement.
Where an obvious pricing or technical error occurs, healthcare nt sickcare may correct the error. The customer will be informed and permitted to cancel the affected booking if the correction materially changes the payable amount.
14. Payment Processing
Payments may be processed by an independent payment gateway, bank, UPI provider or another authorised payment service provider.
healthcare nt sickcare does not ordinarily store complete card, bank-account or UPI authentication credentials.
Customers must not:
- use an unauthorised payment method;
- submit false payment information;
- misuse promotional codes;
- initiate a knowingly false chargeback; or
- attempt to bypass payment-security controls.
Suspected fraud or unauthorised payment activity may be reported to the payment provider or relevant authority.
15. Cancellation, Refund and No-Return Position
Diagnostic testing is a healthcare service. It is not a physical product that can be returned after delivery.
Accordingly:
- physical product returns are not applicable;
- physical return shipping is not applicable;
- return shipping costs are not applicable; and
- a physical return window is not applicable.
A “returns not accepted” classification applies only to physical returns. It does not remove the customer’s statutory rights concerning deficient, incorrectly charged, cancelled or unprovided services.
A refund, rescheduling or corrective service may be available where:
- healthcare nt sickcare cancels the booking;
- the booked service is not provided;
- a duplicate payment is received;
- the customer is charged an incorrect amount;
- an incorrect service is provided;
- the service is materially deficient;
- a sample is mishandled by the service provider; or
- a remedy is required under applicable law.
Once sample collection or laboratory processing has begun, cancellation may be restricted because staff time, consumables and laboratory resources have already been committed.
The complete eligibility requirements and request procedure are provided in our Return and Refund Policy.
16. Report Turnaround Times
Displayed turnaround times are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing.
A stated turnaround time generally begins after an acceptable sample reaches the processing laboratory, not necessarily when the booking or home collection is completed.
Reports may be delayed because of:
- sample recollection;
- repeat analysis;
- confirmatory testing;
- reflex testing;
- referral laboratory processing;
- reagent or equipment constraints;
- public holidays;
- transport disruption;
- inaccurate customer information;
- communication-system failures; or
- circumstances outside reasonable operational control.
Where an excessive delay materially affects the service, the customer may submit a request under our Return and Refund Policy.
17. Digital Delivery of Laboratory Reports
Reports may be delivered using:
- email;
- WhatsApp;
- SMS containing a secure link;
- a customer account or portal;
- another electronic method selected during booking; or
- printed delivery where expressly arranged.
Customers must provide accurate and secure contact information.
Customers should avoid using:
- shared email accounts;
- telephone numbers accessible to unauthorised persons;
- workplace communication accounts;
- public computers; or
- unsecured messaging devices.
Further information is available in our Shipping and Digital Delivery Policy.
18. Critical and Clinically Significant Results
Where the processing laboratory identifies a result that satisfies its critical-value notification criteria, reasonable efforts may be made to contact:
- the patient;
- the person who made the booking;
- the referring medical practitioner; or
- an authorised emergency contact.
Customers must ensure their contact information is correct and remain reasonably reachable.
Critical-value notification:
- does not constitute emergency monitoring;
- does not replace medical consultation;
- may be subject to unsuccessful contact attempts; and
- does not guarantee immediate medical intervention.
Customers must promptly consult a registered medical practitioner about any concerning laboratory result.
19. Privacy and Health Information
healthcare nt sickcare may process information required to provide diagnostic services, including:
- names and contact details;

- sample collection;
- report delivery;
- safety notifications; or
- grievances.
